COACHES: Why You Should Consider Entering the 51st Manhattan College Cross Country Invitational Presented by HOKA – Saturday, October 14

  • One of the largest and best-run, high school, cross country meets in the USA.

  • A once-in-a-lifetime experience for teams to visit and compete in bustling New York City.

  • More prizes than any meet around including medals for first 75 finishers in all 41 races.

  • Over 40 races are live streamed and available for free on avideo-on-demand for boys and girls spanning varsity, junior varsity, sophomore, freshman, intermediate levels. Both the Peter Aquilone Memorial Boys and Ed Bowes Girls Eastern States Championship races are featured in addition to a Coaches race.

  • Opportunity for teams to compete in the northwest part of New York City over the hallowed Van Cortlandt Park course where Nicole Blood, Edward Cheserek, Steve Prefontaine, Marty Liqouri, Christine Curtin, Katelyn Tuohy, Matt Centrowitz first established their national, distance running credentials.

  • A Friday afternoon/early evening (October 13) Runner’s Expo at nearby Manhattan College that includes a seminar with collegiate coaches and athletes for scholastic runners interested in competing at the college level; a keynote speak from a top, professional runner and a free “Taste of New York” Pasta Dinner.
